He probably placed it ther for pure demonstration.

umm i have mine touching metal too bare metal.

Make sure u cut a hole in the carpet. So the bar can slide threw. Place the metal ends inside the carput holes so the end plates are hidden. All u will see is a bar going across.

And yes u will only feel a diff when u are cornering at high speeds. Or if u turn a corner and hit a pot hole or 2. The car will feel solid with bumbs.

The reason I dont have it against the bare metal is because I put it in for pics, and it really doesnt matter all that much.

John, you will notice a difference in every day driving as well as the twisties.

I believe all PayPal accounts can send and receive $. In order to actually get that $ to your personal bank account, you need to become verified. I just went through this process, it's very easy. You just need to provide you bank info to PayPal and they'll make a small deposit. Verify that deposit w/ PayPal and you're all set! Keep in mind though that PayPal charges a small fee for credit card payments (something like 1.5 to 3%) and I believe you need to be a Premier (ie verified) member to accept credit card payments.

It really doesn't matter. I have mine mounted against the carpet because I think it is a cleaner look. Please realize guys that the carpet is prob 1/100th of an inch thick and really isn't an obstruction or anything.
