This is going to seem weird. I'm from SLC (born and raised and college - Go UTES) and was sitting here having a craving for an Iceberg Malt. They still around? They were up on 9th East (or is it 13th) and like 39th South (or is it 45th- maybe it is further South or East...) Just wondering.
I do miss the REAL mountains. I want to ride my Mtn. Bike out on Antelope Island and at Deer Valley again someday. I want to take my road bike up City Creek Canyon. I miss my parents cabin in the mountains past Park City.
But I doubt we will ever get back, just for visits to my family. The next visit will probably be for a funeral, either my Grandmother (93 years old) for my Father (65, but very sick with PSP- Progressive SupraNuclear Palsy- similar to Parkinson's (but different).
I was just thinking about "home", even though I believe home is where you hang your hat.

Haven't heard of the place, but I do enjoy a good malt every now and then. I haven't had the road bike out in a long time. I've become quite the wimp when it comes to cold and biking...my hands and feet go straight from cold to painful all too quickly. But I've been missing Emigration Canyon and other various rides around the east bench. If you're ever in town, let us know!

Really, like a chain? That wasn't true in the past, the one and only (when I was a teenager) was 45th S and 13th E, or thereabouts...
I'm jealous!

There are a ton of them now, but I remember when the only one was east side of Salt Lake. Now, they've been put into gas stations here and there, like Wendy's and Subways are. I really like their malts and shakes, but their burgers aren't anything to write home about.
