hey guys,

I did a search and didn't find anything that helped..

My 96' GL atx always has a slight antifreeze smell after it warms up. I just changed the water pump last august along with the timing belt. I checked for leaks all day today and couldn't find one, the fluid resivour is always at 'max' too.. and it doesn't overheat (runs below the N and sometimes get up to the R and the M) I've checked the thermostat, all the hoses everything. I may try flushing the radiator.

Any ideas?

Check around under the dash for any moisture.....your heater core may have a leak. Just an idea.

I'll check that out, You can't smell the antifreeze smell inside the car. Just outside. Would that matter though?

There is a chance the radiator has a pin-hole leak. Put the car on idle and has a good look but do be careful of the fan(s).
