O-k...I have an E0. I would like to have E1 calipers, so that I can run the new Bendix Ceramics.

Now, I understand that the E1 shares the same calipers as all other contours/cougars, but has different brackets which push the calipers out to fit 278mm rotors.

My question is: Will my E0 brackets accept a regular caliper, in effect making it an E1 set-up? Or do I need E1 brackets?

I understand that I'll need to hit a junk yard and get some cougar calipers, was just hoping to use my E0 brackets. Guess I could always get the calipers, and see if they fit on my brackets.

The E0 brackets might allow you to bolt up the other calipers, but if it did, I don't know what pad the combination would accept. Part of the pad fit depends on the shape of the brackets.

If you can find Cougar calipers on a Couger with the big brakes, just get the brackets along with the calipers.

cougar/E1 CSVT have the same calipers and brackets. Look for a V6 4 wheel disc brake equipped cougar or another E1 CSVT.

I wouldn't bother. The Bendix Ceramics are nice, but not too much more performance of the Ti II's which are available for the E0. If you're THAT into upgrading - you'd be better off spending your money on an FSVT front brake setup.
