The Search Function can be difficult to use. Below is a guide with some tips / tricks. (Long overdue "How-to").

1. Click here to go to Search

2. Forum or category to search
From here use the pull down to select the forum you want to search.

If you're looking for Baer brakes, select "Brakes".
If you're looking for MSDS headers for a 2.5 Duratec, select "Duratec Performance".
If you're looking for an intake for the Zetec, select "Zetec Performance".
etc.

In this case we are looking for "how to open headlights", so you would select "Aesthetics".

3. Words to search for
Being more specific will yield fewer results. Simple word(s) will result in more results.

In this case we are looking for "how to open headlights", but to keep it simple we will enter "headlight open".

4. Search options
From the pulldown menu, you want to select your option.
"Entire phrase" works well for single words.

In this case since we have two words, "And" is our best choice.

4. Date range
Choose "All dates".

5. Number of results to show per page
It's easy to add two zeros "00" to the 25.

6. Submit
Click submit and a new screen appears with your search results.

Hope this helps.

Newbies: Don't get upset when the Search Nazis arrive and tell you to search. Take some time to do it.
