Can anyone tell me the best hose to connect this gauge too. Btw it is a Faze gauge.
I've been looking at THESE but i'm not sure which size i need.

I did search and found nothing that was any help.

Thanx i did read that post but it does not give much help really.
I did think of an electrical gauge but i want it more accurate and to be full sweep like my mechanical oil pressure gauge.

How exactly would a mechanical water temp guage work? Oil guages are mechanical because it uses the pressure of the oil to move the needle against a spring. Since oil is an incompressible fuild, you can run it all the way to the guage without and change in pressure.

Water temperature is detected by electrical means, or else by a bi-metal spring. The electrical sensors are more accurate, and if you actually ran water all the way into the cabin, the temp would drop dramatically, and it would be very innacurate - it would even change accuracy with outside/inside temps.

They do make mechanical temp guages. They run a flexable metal line to where the sensor mounts. I don't know how exactly they work but water doesn't come into the interior.

Mechanical oil temp/presure gauges have sealed tubes filled with fluid (oil?)... it is not your engine oil within the tubes. I'd assume mechanical water temp gauges have the same setup (as the fluid expands, it moves the needle).
