Just an old fart in Manteca-Lardville.

Hi my name is Guy and I live in Sunnyvale, work in Redwood City. I have an SVT 99, Silver (painted out rear section between the exhaust tips), Yellow Koni, Eibachs, SCA Rear Sway, Team Dynamics 18X8s with Nitto 555, Sail Panels, Momo Shift Knob, Powertone exhaust tips etc...

I have had other enthusiast cars also, (2) 2002tii (Stage4 Dinan), 914 2.0, 87 944 Turbo (chip and suspension upspeced), Renault R5Turbo (bought in Germany and had federalized, heavily upspeced), 72 911T (stock but really clean), 69 911E (really clean stock except for upspeced suspension), 72 280 SE 3.5 (sunroof) Coupe (rare), 71 AMX 390. I am really starting to like my set-up on the SVT. The stock suspension did not suit me at all, but I have to tell you, I love the cost of US cars and parts. The SVT has become a real nice driver.

I don't do drags with my car, but would not mind meeting sometime. I typically attend the Friday CART event at Laguna in September and American LeMans in October. We could meet up in Monterey for breakfast and hang out for the remainder of the day? Just an idea.

I'm in sunny Folsom, CA (and not in the prison)... I know of 5 other SVT's in the area... not sure if they're bouncing around on this board or not...

Count me in! I live in the Sierra Nevada Foothills east of Sacramento. I may have seen the guy from Folsom. I work in Folsom and I saw a silver '97 or '98 SVT the other day.

My bone-stock, black '99 SVT and I will happily join in track days or whatever. Having spent quite a lot of time on the I-Club boards over at [URL=http://www.impreza-rs.com[/URL] (populated by Subaru Impreza RS owners, natch), it seems like they've got a great community going in the Bay Area, and often go to Autocross and track day events, and get together to discuss mods and so on.

If us SVT people could get the same thing going, I can't see it being anything other than a whole heap o' fun.

A Stock black 99 SVT in the Livermore area. Not really interested in racing the SVT but very interested in watching other people race or helping out.

Do they have autotesting/sprints in the bay area ? I used to do a lot of that back in the UK but only ever used <$500 junker cars (read disposable).

Hey guys, I'm an SVT owner from New Jersey, but I'm going to be in Folsom next week for some training, interested in what the heck there is to do out there.. I've been up and down the coast of CA, but never here before.

Also, does anyone out there have an SVT with the SCA exhaust? Would love to hear it, no one around here has one (or any SCA parts for that matter). Thanks.
