OP BARTECH CEG\'er B Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 292 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada	Well my car began working its dimming lights effect on the highway one night last week. I predicted the alternator was on its way out. Two hours later the charge light stayed on at idle. I still managed to drive from Pearson to Guelph and back to Hamilton. At least I got the warning signs and I wasn't stranded on the side of the 401 in the middle of nowhere. Had the alternator refurbished the other day, car was fixed in less than 5 hours. Oh well,probably won't have the car much longer,probably till April at the latest. She currently sits in the driveway with 298 055km.
