My girlfriend has been telling me forever she wants to go somewhere...anywhere. We've talked about Nashville before because we're both into country music and from driving through on my way to Florida before, it seems like a cool place to visit. So...is it? I'd be coming down 3/9 or 3/10 and staying that weekend. I'm going to search Ticketmaster and see if anything is happening that weekend. If not, just some general places to see would be cool. And if you have a hotel you prefer (needs a hot tub, preferably available in-room), let me know. Thanks guys/girls.

Newly renovated Parthanon. Fantastic replica of the original in Greece. Better than the original at this point in time IMHO.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

ryelou-
- stay downtown, as near second ave as you can. that way you can walk to venues.
- do/see anything at the GEC (gaylord entertainment center)
- see country music hall of fame
- really like country? go to the wildhorse
- eat at big river, demo's and joe's crabshack
all these are easy walks....and do walk around the capital. very pretty views of the city, particularly at night.

Hmm. That probably rules that out. I'd like to be able to walk to all/most things. Thanks for the help so far though, I appreciate it. If anyone has any more suggestions, feel free to speak up.
