So you bought Hella's and you got them installed on the stock brackets, But now you dont know how to install them.

Basically there are 3 ways you can wire them:

1) Wire the Foglights to come on with the stock switch and the Angel eyes to come on with the another switch(the one provided in the kit)
2) Wire the foglights so they come on with the stock switch, and no angel eyes
3) Wire the Foglights and Angel eyes so they come on with the provided swtich, no use of the stock switch.

Ill go through the First Setup in this How-To

1. Jack the car up and firmly support on jackstands

2. Remove the underbody splash guard using Hex Screws or an allen key

3. Install the Hellas with the stock brackets into the housing on the front bumper.

4. Remove the stock foglight "plug" with wire cutters, Black is the ground and the other will be the power.

5. Remove the stupid wire covers that come with the Hellas and get them down to the bare wire.

6. Use 3M wire connecters, or solder THE FOGLIGHT wires(black to black) (white to red(power wire) together, Wrap them well with electrical tape.

If you do not choose to use the angel eyes, you can finish here CHECK the fogs and focus the beam against your garage door/road.

Now to wire the Angel eyes:
7. Take the red power supply wire provided with the kit and run it to the battery, it should look fine being as the stock battery is red.

8. Take the wiring with the fuse and wrap it with the power cable, or find a good place to "hide" it so it wont move or bang around.

9. Take the ground and find a good sized hole in the frame of the car, Use a nut and bolt and run them through the hole with the Ground installed.

10. Take the Switch for the angel eyes and test them to make sure everything works, Test the Foglights again to make sure everything is working fine (note the foglights wont come on with the secondary switch because you didnt connect them that way)

11. Wrap the wiring for the switch in electrical tape to make the install easier and cleaner.

12. Remove the Wiper Cowl and Wiper blades from the car(now is a good time to replace your cabin air filter)

13. Punch a hole in the small Gromet leading TO the wiper cowl, run the wires under the car and through the engine bay and into the wiper cowl. Punch another hole in the big square rubbery gromet (note. dont run the wires through everything with the switch installed, it makes it that much more or a PITA)

Here is a pic of the wiring going into the wiper cowl.

14. Use a Wire feeder or a coat hanger to poke a hole in through the firewall into the car, run the wires into the car.

15. Remove the Steering wheel cover and look up towards the top of the pedals, Your wiring should be sitting there ready for you to install the switch.

16. install the switch wherever you want it to go.

Enjoy the New look of your car with the Angel eyes and SUPER bright Hellas.

Nice, but how about a how-to if you don't have stock fogs, but want the Hellas to turn on/off when the headlights are turned on/off?

I think there is already a How-to somewhere about wiring non-stock fogs into the HL switch.

Basically you do that and then my How-to.

I asked about that, don't think it's possible.

yea, i never said it was impossible, you just need to do some wiring, something not everyone wants to do.

Does "really" mean "relay"?

Good info, thanks! What type of relay would you use? I've been wrenching on cars for a while now, but relays befuddle me to this day.
