ebay addThese look more like E1 rims. Seller told me his early 98, #57 was bought new by him with these rims on. Am I missing something? I thought all early 98 SVT's came with E0 rims.

Thats what I thought. Maybe they are 98.5 rims. They look like a good deal to me. I was thinking of bidding on them as well.

Guy is full of crap. No way a car that early had those wheels. They are the E1's used on 98.5-00.

My car is an E0, which is #2119 and built in Nov 97. So yeah, not E0 rims (and he's full of s**t!)

If the owner says they bought the car new with those rims already on there, then maybe the dealership changed them.

Ohhh... maybe the dealer knew about the 1998.5 change and wanted people to think the car was the newer model!

That's what I thought. I told him they were from 98.5-00. He said he bought it new from dealer. That it was early 98, build #57, and that other things were different, like the mirrors, and knobs on dash and that, maybe, later they changed to the ugly E0 rims. I replied that I had build #6 and that I thought all early 98's had E0 rims, not E1's.

Exactly. My 2000 came stock with those rims. They're E1's

Could be telling the truth about having purchased the car that way, but he's not very knowledgeable. I love it when people get defensive and start making stuff up.
