the belt that drives my waterpump broke. bought a new one, $6.25 at NAPA. took it for a test drive, temp stays in the normal range. but something didnt seem right. Heat works fine. checked the coolant level, ok. No CEL. checked oil, washer fluid, and brake fluid. all good. another test drive, all seemed normal but i still had that feeling after driving this car for years that something was not right.

then i remembered. log into contour.org and b!tch about it. here we go:

FREAKING FORD AND THEIR CHEAP A$$ WATER PUMP BELTS ONLY LASTING 125K MILES, or, WHO IS THE MORON WHO PUT THE WATERPUMP BELT BEHIND THAT BLACK COVER WHERE YOU CANT SEE IT, or perhaps WHY IS THE WATERPUMP NOT DRIVEN BY THE MAIN SERP BELT?>?!>!!!!

NOW the repair is complete. Have an excellent 2006. My goal is 7 posts on this site this year.

RATS!!! My plan failed! Your engine was supposed to be toast, so you would decide it wasn't worth fixing so you would sell ME all your SVT parts for cheap!

Back to the drawing board!

BTW, thanks again for the wheels! You ROCK!
