anyone ever go? im heading to Escondido area for the weekend and was thinking of taking my daughter to this park. ive always been curious of it but have never met anyone who's actually been there. ive been to the zoo down there before and will maybe just go there.. i was wondering if this park is worth it? their website doesnt offer much, other than the few attractions that they nickel-and-dime you to death with

Lots of walking, but pretty cool. My kids love feeding the lorikeets and feeding the giraffes. Nothing nastier than giraffe tongue Also the train is a good way to just sit and let the kids be entertained.

Yes, I used to work there in High School. It is a great place to see animals in a more natural environment as opposed to the zoo where they are all in small cages and enclosures. Food is very overpriced, so i would recommend eating prior to going and/or bringing a cooler.
It takes at least 3-4 hours to see everything, so plan accordingly. PM me if you have any further questions.
