Does the ZX Tuner thermostat come with its new O-ring?

Thanks.

It's been a long time, but IIRC, I had to go to the store and buy one. Though the one I bought from him for my escort did come with a gasket.

Mine didn't. No biggie, I think the gasket was like $7 from Ford.

Make sure that they don't try to sell you the t-stat housing gasket. That happened to one of my co-workers.

Thanks. Anybody knows the part # for it? I searched on Bill's site and FordPartsOn-Line but all they got is a housing, thermostat itself and the housing gasket...

It's much easier just to go to your local Ford dealer. Heck, I even heard that one of the local CEG'ers got one from AutoZone. (In stock, and the guy behind the counter actually knew what he was asking for. Truely amazing!)

Either that or you could e-mail Bill J.

BTW, Bill has his new site up and running?!? Do you have a link?

I got a 180 degree thermo from Advance Auto- it was about $7 for the part and $3 for the gasket.

The gasket is easy to get at parts store. Lots of people have said they've found the lower temp thermostats at parts store as well.
