Well my drivers seat has been squeaking and slightly moving under braking and accelerating, and side to side during hard turns. Well I am done with it and ready to do something about it. I am looking to spend up to 500$ *wince* What options are out there for a 95 contour se? I have power driver seat, but i dont care if I lose it. Any pointers would be great.

Offer yours up for sale and collect .. '95 leather seats are far and away the most desired (stock) option in a Contour, due to their large bolsters and firm support.

Is it just the squeaking/moving bothering you? Finding and repairing the problem would probably be less costly ... unless you're set on going with aftermarket seats ..

What color are they? I would take a set of crappy, squeaky seats off your hands if they were beige.

They are grey seats.

What is envolved in fixing them? Ive tried tightening the bolts on the braket, they were tight, i couldnt move them either way.

Or get a set of stock base-modeel seats froma junk-yard, cut off the bases, modify, and attach aftermarket seats to the stock bases. Mind you it's a bit of work but the way to go if you want a stock(like) installation.

NOTE: I welded the plates into place once I was satisfied with the way they lined up - the bolts were temporary to get them topgether in preparation for welding. I removed the bolts when I was all said and done.

I'll see if I have more. But if you want to see what they look like, look up Sparco Speed.

I know how they look. I just wanted to see how they look in the tour.

Thanks though!
