I got a SCREAMING deal on a Viper 791xv and DEI's "pain inducing" interior siren. I'm going to try to pick up a battery operated backup siren, just to be on the safe side (I've had my fair share of POS crooks tamper with past vehicles, what can I say? )

I know I can install this alarm without a doubt. I know I'll need the 555U to bypass PATS and I'll need to bypass the clutch switch to be able to use the remote start. What else am I going to need (or anything that will simplify the install...) that doesn't come with it? 451m door lock relay(s)? Maybe the 508D Dual Zone Motion Sensor would be a worth while addition?

I've been searching a few audio forums, but with no real luck. I've also searched over at NECO for any additional install tips for our platform.

Depends on what extra features you plan on installing, just get 3-4 extra relays and a hood pin switch! I recommend that Dual Zone motion sensor, i have it on my car and it goes well with the HELLA free way blasters i installed. Scares the piss out of would be thieves or anyone that is within two feet of the car Instead of the battery operated backup siren, just pick up DEI back-up battery module. It powers the alarm for 6 hours IIRC, i have it on mine, like yourself i've dealt with thieves in the past and i tried to go pretty much all out on my alarm.

Just to add to the CEG database, here are the partnumbers for DEI relays and switches I ended up getting. I got some generic polycarbinate pin switches off of ebay though.

513T Mini Piezo 120 db "Pain Generator" Interior Alarm Siren
508D Dual Zone Motion Sensor/PROXIMITY RADAR MOTION SENSOR
555F FORD OEM PATS Anti-Theft Bypass Module
515R siren backup battery car alarm
?- Hood & Trunk Plunger Pin Switches

Since I have a few other electrical projects other than this, I got a 10 pack of bosch type relays.

Thanks for the PM Steeda, and thanks for the input Quick

For the Trunk you really don't need a switch becuase the light comes on when opened so you can tap into that, and the Hood pin switch use a mercury switch much better.
