Well, I wasn't about to lowball you, Hector. IIRC you were asking 6k when I saw the add, so I figured your final price was gonna be more than what I was willing to spend to replace my 'Tour. Too bad for both of us, that was a really nice lookin' car, and supercharged to boot! Damn, man. I feel like I let you down...

OK! I'm back!
So I just got an early christmas present. My dad just sent me $2k.
Now I'm thinking about keeping the Merc and getting to work finding a nice 302 to go into the Maverick.
I'm thinking, here's what the car's gonna look like...
rebuilt 302
4bbl intake manifold
4bbl carburetor
4-speed MTX from my Uncle's '70 Mach 1 (spring loaded clutch baby!)
dual side exhaust
black paint with a white stripe down the center...
The Other Ponycar badges everywhere...
most likely a more suitable cam than what the stock engine will have in it (It'll probably be from an LTD...)
