posting this question here because i have not gotten a responce in troubleshooting section. i have a 1997 contour zetech 2.0 with manual transmission.

replacing engine.

is it easier to replace the engine by removing it from out the hood. or by removing it from below? if removing out the hood is it easier to remove with transmission attached. help appreciated. thank you

i dunno but if your removing the engine from the top always better to remove the hood that way you have much more room unlesss you can pull back the hood far enough where the hood is straight up and strap it.
