I have both the subframe connectors and the LCA from SHO SHOP (before they sucked). I had them done at the same time and both together made a huge difference. The LCA tighten the steering a lot (faster turn-in), handles much better.
The subframe connector made a bigger difference on my 89' SHO then the SVT. The SVT is a little bit stiffer then my old SHO, but the subframes are worth the money. I also did the strut tower braces front and rear so the car became a different handling machine. Just do it ! -B.
All I need now is some Koni's !

Do the LCA's have to be removed to weld the plates on?

i dont know what bolt mine are. i have a 99 made 4/99. ill check this weekend when we're working on my car.
