apparently the valve covers are different for pre and post 98 zetecs. i'm just curious why? the pre98s are much more expensive.

because post 98 has VCT and pre 98's dont, valve covers are designed totally differenty.

not to change the subject but the post 98 has a cooler sound to the motor.
