Will these fit a contour without any rubbing?

from what the pics say the offset is 49.5 offset but i heard that i wanna stay between 38-43 offset. What will the 49.5 do? Make it stick out?

Those are Mondeo wheels so they will fit with zero issues. A lot of CEGer's are running them. Not a bad wheel.

alright, but im jw.........what exactly does offset mean? Someone told me that i need between a 38-43 offset (acceptable offset for aftermarket wheel) for the contour. Also, i have an SE, so will it still fit without rubbing?

From what i hear they are on the heavier side but if that isn't an issue go for it, they look good on tours.

Bigger and heavier wheels do cause more stress and ware on your brakes. Just get them they look cool. YOu can up grade later.

fyi, the svt wheel is 49.5 offset. 16x6.5 offset is the space from the physical center of the wheel width to the very backside of the wheel where it mounts to the hub. if the back of the wheel is at the very center of the wheel the offset is zero. if the back of the wheel is further back (breaks past the center of the wheel) the offset is negative. the further towards the front of the wheel the backside is the more positive the offset is
