Today i changed my transmission oil, but when i poured the new oil, and checked the level, i passed the limit line, not too much, like less than half an inch, please tell me, what would happen, thank you.

doesnt seem like anything too serious. If it gives you any trouble you can always just do another drain and fill.

I would drain it cause its not suppose to be that full. When you are driving the fluid heats up and expands. So having filled it to much can cause problems. What problems you may ask......let me search and I will try to find out.

Ummm...  You'd destroy the tranny! Possibly, but we can only assume because most people aren't dumb enough to leave something done wrong for an extended period of time...

Theres no Contour SE down here in Mexico, the 4 cilinder Contour is known as LX even the 2000 model. thank you anyway
