96 M edition Hard-core CEG\'er 9 Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 4,292	goonz,at work today i looked up the diameter of both wheels 205/40r17 and 205/55r16 to compare the rolling diameter for you the 17's are 24.3" and the 16 are 25.7...that over an inch(obv )!!!...were as the 215/45's are within .2"'s..
