OEM Tire Inflation Specs. Should the factory recommendations be also followed on aftermarket tires? I mean - IIRC - 31 psi for the fronts and 33 psi for the rears? (I am running 215/40R-17 tires).

I don't, my tires are like 50psi max, i run about 40psi.

Thanks. Follwoing Big Jim's advice I looked up the manufacturer's specs and the "Maximum Air" is stated as 44, so I guess I wil try 38 psi all around.
