What are your plans for your rebate check?

Mine went into my savings account.

Savings account...cha ching.

I filed NM taxes last year, so I'm assuming that's why they sent me a check.

I was just reading about the rebate. You lucky guys. I wish my state did that. So Derek, did you file NM taxes last year? I read that they were only giving it to people that were residents of the state as of 12/31 of last year. Since you were up here, sounds like you lucked out

But on a side note, I got something even better than a fuel rebate. I just moved offices at work and now instead of a 20-mile commute each way, I have a 1.5 mile commute

I only live 3 miles away from work. Its great

I used my check and some extra $$ lying around to finally get some wheels for the car from another CEGer. Should be in next week

F*ckin sucks cause I pay utilites, but I filled a Colorado income tax so no moneies for me! Anyone want to share with me. . .

I got $139, too. I'll be filing UT taxes for '05, however...I'm officially a UT resident (saved me 10K this year in tuition!) Plus, I think Ashley and I are going to be stickin' around UT for a while. We like it there.
