im my opinion irs kinda hard to make a contour sound like a honda civic from what i have found. i think it all depends on how loud u want it.

It's all about how many cylinders you've got running to a muffler. Most small four cylinder engines will all sound pretty much the same running into the same model fart can. I don't know if it matters if they have a header or not. There's a guy running a Viper near where I work that has a modified exhaust. When he goes by, I can only hear one of the side pipes (the one I'm closest to naturally) and it almost sounds like a four cylinder into a fart can even though there's five cylinders feeding into that one pipe. If you didn't see the car you might swear that a Honda had just gone by. If you watch any Touring Car (Speed Channel) Racing you can hear that most of the cars all sound pretty much the same - the four bangers anyway.

Anybody try flowmaster mufflers? I got some off from my old car and was thinking about fitting them on the csvt. You think it would sound good? A little worried I dont want to hack up the exaust and have it sound like poo.
