I do not see why I will not be able to make it either

Sounds like it will be a good time again.

I also am planning on going to Carlisle again next year.

I think if Mike and I do Carlisle this year, we'll be getting a hotelroom and taking at least Friday off to make the drive down!

I was about to say you are more then welcome to stay at my place like I offered last year but I just remembered I will not be living there anymore at that time ... but I am sure I will use home as my starting point anyway so I am sure I can make the offer again.

I'm following my own personal tradition of not attending meets.

To be truthful, even if I wanted to / could go, I have doubts the Contour could feasibly make the trip without issue. I've only been out of Worcester County once since June (not counting weekly Boston trips by train), and that was to the Quabbin in the Miata. This car just doesn't leave me confident traveling anymore.

a vehicle is not required.
Contours are 4 seaters, and most of us usually only have 2 seats filled.

you could be the dsesignated floater.
jumping from car to car at each rest stop.

i think you would have a blast, and letting the idea of not driving out there ruin that for you is no good.

Seeing as we never attended when we owned a tour, we probably won't be making it this year. I knew we should have gone last year.
