I am sure you want more than I want to pay Blackwidow...trust me I know about turbo contours.
Scott I found a duratec one for sale tonight...I didn't drive it...just drove buy...97 SE with the lip spoiler...in black. Crappy wheels though. I will try and drive it this week. He doesn't want too much for it and I think there are a couple easy fixes for it.
Well I drove the 97 SE manual tonight...it's in good shape too. Drove very smooth. It has a CEL and he is pulling codes for me tomorrow (I think it is for the Cats...anyone know what a shop charges to replace them?)
I question the clutch pedal engagement...it's a little closer than halfway to the floor.
And then it didn't have the good kick my SVT had with the 2ndaries...should it be? aybe it needs a new IMRC.
If it needs all that I bet I can get it for a sweet deal.
Before you think its the IMRC, check the bar that opens the secondaries. I found that the plastic clip had broke off on mine and the sec's were not opening. I made a clip out of metal so it would not happen again. I was so impressed when the secondaries opened up for the first time, that was a year after I had it ! I bought it that way, so I did not know until I did the injectors. -B.

I dont think the secondary kick should bother you too much if you are just comparing it to your SVT. The SVT kick should be noticably better than a normal V6.
Where does your clutch pick up? Mine picks up almost all of the way towards me. Basically feels like I could push it in just a few inches to shift gears (I always push it to the floor though). Been like that since I got it at 45,000 miles.
Compared to my moms SAAB, which engauged like an inch from the floor. That sucker had to be touching carpet to change gears (not literally, but close).
