Sidemounts on the contour couldn't get any air due to the bumpers not having any openings for them. Unless you cut gigantic holes in the bumper for it to get air. A FMIC gets all the air it needs. The radiator will get the air it needs too. OEM cars like saabs and volvos use FMIC's on alot of thier turbo cars without any sort of problem.

On my 1st set-up I ran a Saab side mount as a top mount with a sealed scoop. It was okay, but I ditched it and will be running an air/water IC on my new set-up.

It wouldn't be too hard to either cut a front bumper (and beautify it) with ducting, or run the IC's in the front bumper and just you a ducted fan on them. I often though of how much room is in the front left side of the SVT bumper under the splash shield and it is a lot. I run my MAF and lightning Air filter in that location. If you cut out the splash shield bottom and put in screen mesh 1/4" to protect from debris, then you could have a lot of room for an eclipse style cooler. It wouldn't be as good as a water to air with a front mount exchanger though.
