about 127mph according to the factory speedo. slightly downhill too. think that was top of fourth... was still accelerating but terribly slow.

i need another stang.

uhhh..i never go past the speed limit...but one time the uhh..gas petal got stuck...and uhh it went upto 100 MPH...

I wonder how it got stuck at 100 mph. It must be the moosing or throttle hang. Yeah, that's the reason .
(One of few moosing cases for the Zetec).

I took my Zetec ATX up to 170kmh at the governor,and my Duratec strangely does 180kmh on the governor.

130, yea right, must have heavy mods. its hard to get over 140 in a csvt. must have took you a very long time. i had a probe se. 110 was all with all bolt ons. because of the limiter, so i think 120 was the most

It's very possible, just takes a long long time. Anyways comparing to other cars is stupid. I have a basically stock escort that will top it's 120mph speedo out pretty easily, but that doesn't have anything to do with a contour.

I doubt it. Mustang GTs of the late 80s were good for only about 135mph.
And the CSVT is good for 143mph - drag limited.
Like the other guy said - must be heavily modded.
Only 10mph difference in drag limited top ends with around 70hp difference?
