Has anyone here used it yet? I know some have it, but don't know if they've used it yet. For the cold months in Michigan, I think it would be ideal. I'm going to try to Zaino the IS tonight and hopefulyl it will dry overnight. We have a warmup, 3 days of ~50 degrees. Anyway, just looking for feedback on the new product.

We used it on OutlawdSVTs black car about a month ago. I put this post up at the begining of January when i got my first batch. We ended up laying on 2 thick coats and IMO wasted a lot of Z-5 b/c if you don't use it you have to throw it away. Be fully prepared to put 3 coats on in a 12 hour period of time to justify the mixture. We still did the Z-1 too, why not, you already have it.

This was his first application of Zaino, and was applied after a thorough claying.

I don't know how much different the shine is b/c of the ZFX b/c I have never done another black car w/ just the regular Z1, Z5, Z2 process, but you can judge for yourself:

Looks pretty damn good to me, and smooth as a Baby's Butt! smile This the 2 coats of Z-5 and 1 or 2 coats of Z-2, and of course the Z-6.

So, is the ZFX accelerate worth it? It seems all it does is to speed up the "cure" time. But does it add anything to the shine, protection, etc?

I think that is enough. Plus you don't need Z-1 anymore.
