Looking for highest quality lines for the price. I think Goodridge has an added sleeve to help aid against rubbing. Anyone know any good online places? In my breif scan they are all about the same exact price give or take $10. Also does everyone do all 4 corners or just the fronts?

I have Goodridge lines. They're pretty good. If you do only two of the lines you will still have a soft pedal as the lines that are still rubber will swell when you depress the pedal - and most probably they will swell even more than before as the SS lines will have no give and hence the rubber ones still on there will have to make up for that. More swell is bad.
I wouldn't skimp Toodles - do all 4!

Looks like SP sells all 4 for $120. I thought they were about $50 a corner. Now the next question. I'm doing the Focus upgrade. SP has seperate PN#'s listed.
95-96 Contour & Mystique w/ABS
Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake Lines, set of 4 DOT Approved 636-GDR-12323
97-00 Contour & Mystique w/ABS, incl. SVT
Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake Lines, set of 4 DOT Approved 636-GDR-12324
Wonder what the difference is. I guess I'll order the early ones. Maybe the way they attach to the hard lines changed. Who knows.

Just took the plunge and ordered a full set from hrpworld.com. $109.60 + $7 for UPS ground. Doesn't look like Goodridge usually sells seperate front/back sets like Aeroquip does.

Yeah the connection at the body may be different. The connection at the calipers should all be the same though as all Contours except the 98 SVT's have the same calipers, and my gess is that the 98 SVT's would have the same connection at the caliper anyway.

I wanted data. Not what you have on your car. Experinces with longevity. Any issues where the lines are fused with the ends. Oh well I ordered them.

http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=brakes&Number=1023128I asked this a while ago. I really haven't noticed any difference over stock, but I don't currently have pads that work well at very high temps, so maybe they stretch more when they are hot, and it'll become apparent then.
