follow the idea of this civic. i call these rides mini truck cars, because they follow the model of a mini truck. sit as low as possible and be gangstar.
seriously do it, it's a lot of work and fabrication so if you can't weld, find someone who can.
yes I now what you mean....but It would be too much trouble and too expensive too cut out all the fender....or even do a "bodydrop" like the truck...instead, I put an SVT bodykit with an air suspension so it touch the ground too but the car is a little higher...and anyway I have an ConTour GL so I find it so ugly with no bodykit...and for the wheels I not sure to put 20's I'll see if it fits again with the airbags...

x also took a road trip with the 20s when he got them and took them off as soon as he got back and went back to 19s or even 18s for daily driving. unless you have a show car dont bother.

He took them off as he bent one on his way back from Atlanta. He got the 18's for long haul trips and the like. he has since sold his 18's to skrilla and uses the 20's for daily driving.
Car handles amazing with the 20's, by the way, and from his word and from seeing them, doesn't seem to slow him up TOO much, either. They also don't weigh as much as you think.

yeah, but he has lik 1" of sidewall. Yikes!
How much does a replacement rim cost when he hits a hard pothole? How good will they look when you get curb rash from just parking near anything? Don't ever turn the wheel on anything but perfect pavement. How much conforming does that tire do on uneven or rough road surfaces.

Hahahah! Like THAT has never been done before. I'm sure everyone will immediately look at you because they've never seen big wheels.
Originally posted by BaggedContour: ...I don't know why I couldn't put 20's on my car if some one alreaydy did it without any modification
Ummm. Isn't that a contradiction? How come everyone spends so much money trying to be different...and then they all end up the same?

Then why even worry about it or waste peoples time with it?
There are some people who have already bagged their cars here (that's original too by the way) and you should have started a post about cost/avialability/how-to for bagging first.

Not sure, but he bent one do to a pot hole. Didn't cost much for repair from my understanding. But yeah... rubber bands, lol. Wouldn't survive my driveway, let alone any freeway around here.
