so I wanted to know......do you now if it's very difficult to fit 20 inches wheels on a Ford Contour with 225/30r20 tires...Do you think it will rubbing ???

but I know it's possible because I saw a Contour on the internet with 20"...but they don't give any details on that so that's why I ask you?? Do You have any experience with 20's on a Contour ???

First of all, 20"s are a bit much, don't do it.

Second, you will have to roll the fenders and possibly cut some fender lining. If offset isn't perfect may or may not need spacers.

Third, 20"s are a bit much, don't do it.

it's been done by one person....and i'm not a fan. 18's are nice, tasetfull 19's also come out nice, but IMO 20's on a contour look about as good as 130 spoke 10's.

the user wit the 20" wheels is liquidX... i think hes been banned.... im not really upto date with that, but someone by the name of LadyX has posted pics of his car (the one with 20" wheels) in the vids/pics section.

IMO i think the 20's look awesome and fill out the wheel gap very well. I dont know if they will work on stock suspension because the huge spring perch thats in the way. i know the wheels are SSW, but i dont know what model they are.

20s are mad t!t3 yo!!11 pimp my ride put 20s on a shopping cart and it was teh $hit!!!

The Contour is about sport. 20s are slow as balls, and very unresponsive. Why ruin the handling of a nice car and make it look stupid all at once?

He has ground controls and Koni's. Did NOT have to roll any fenders, did NOT remove ANY linings, and there is NO rubbing AT ALL, even at maxxed out 5mph turns.

I have 19's and that's as far as I'd go.

Look at the distance between LiquidX's rim and the ground in the above pic, and you'll understand why he dented them, the first time he went for a long distance drive. It's just WAY too little of a sidewall.

Yeah, something like a 225/15/20 tire...Basically a rubberband, which would not survive a day in MI.
