Hi there contour guys,
I have been real relaxed to much I have not been working on my car . It has been sitting still for 6 months now. I have it apart and will be sending the turbo in for a head to toe checkup by turbochargers.com . After I get it back I will hopefully have heard back from the site on this intercooler specs.

I am hoping it will outflow my 450 cfm water to air I have now. I also will get the demensions on the piece and hope it will fit in the place of my old intercooler and water injection tank. I will just need some 90 degree silicone hoses and and reducers and It should look very nice chromed out in place of my aluminum one. I will get to dyno run on both setups to see if maybe we can get a inexpensive intercooler for us people who are not welders. But first I have to find out what causing my surging and bogging of my boost hopefully it just my turbo or maybe my wastegate not sealing.

Looks similar to one on Ebay... I have been investigating the option of going Turbo myself

Yes it is on ebay it is a very nice setup for $350 bucks plus it does flow 700cfm efficently which is perfect for my setup. I just can see how they can sell the piece for so cheap and make any money compared to 1200 at ADC same size core too.

depends on the company selling them. I bought my intercooler from a guy who had several, but was liquidating the inventory. ADC's intercooler is specific to your need, you might have to modify the intercooler a little, but that's part of the reason they are cheaper. ADC isn't selling the part, they are selling their service and R&D.

I also bought 4 garrett/kenne bell heat exchangers from a pawn shop for 125 for the lot...who knows how he got them, but he didn't really know what he had.

There's no 'might' about it. You WILL have to modify that thing a lot to make it fit.
Don't forget that you really need the dimensions on the core itself to compute or at least compare it against a known core to see if it really flows 700cfm. I wouldn't just take some ebay sales pitch without a brand name and part number at least for the core, or dimensions so you can look it up and see if it is the right one for you.

looks like the SSAutoChrome water/air.

ive delt with him a LOT when i turbo'd my Monte Carlo.

his intercoolers are top notch, his headers are "so/so", and the turbo's, well, if they work the first time, they are good as long as you dont feed them to much oil.
