is there a performance manifold for the Zetec? i may have to replace the intake manifold, if i do, why not just put a performance manifold on there? thanks.

If I recall, there isn't one for our model. But, (evil inside awakens) there is another option....but only if you are willing to go all the way. That's right, you could be the first on here to carburate your Zetec. Do it. DO IT. It'll get you more than enough performance, and get rid of those pesky electronics. How does tuning with a screwdriver sound? Anyway, go look at the "Contour engine question thread" thread here for more info. So that's my idea. I promise it'll just be "bolt-on" type stuff.

no thank you, i don't want a carbed motor. i am a fuel injection type of guy.

There are some for the focus. May take a little modification to make fit. Or you can port out a stock one.

well, i was able to save my intake. if i had to replace it, i was thinking about going with an aftermarket performance one. thanks guys
