Red tops are better IMHO, but require some finnessing to get into the factory spot, since it is installed laying down, not standing up like a motorcraft or whatever adn the terminals are now on the side, somewhat of a PITA to get thecables on them for some reason.

WHoa there Dr. Dre.. TOO MUCH POWA!!

web page

The 12" Kenwoods are 200 Max Continuous power, with 500 or so Peak.. this one woudl be great, as it's 200 continous and reach 300 max per sub. Rockford makes a MUCH better amp than kenwood or sony, though.

teh difrence between 300 and 1000 watts is, uhh, the word "Sizzle".

You can not over power a sub, but you can underpower an overpowered sub. Meaning, 500 watt amp with a 1000watt max subwoofer.

Ok everything added together = 816$

But are these speakers really good? I'm concerned because they are cheap!

Red Top

Optima SIL (Starter, Ignition & Lighting) Batteries
Back: 34M, 34, 34R (reverse post)
Front: 75/35, 6V, 34/78

Ultra high performance in cold or heat... Ultra shock resistance... High tolerance for accidental deep discharge... OPTIMA is the ultimate battery for any vehicle that really needs to start. OPTIMA batteries are preferred by emergency vehicle crews because they deliver more power in tougher conditions than any other battery. Collectors and RV owners appreciate the Optima's ability to hold a charge up to 3 times longer than conventional batteries.

Yellow Top

OPTIMA Yellow Top and Blue Top battery models are the power source of choice for deep-cycle power needs. Compared to conventional batteries, voltage output from an Optima battery is more uniform across the discharge curve, more deep cycles are tolerated, and they can be mounted in any position with zero corrosion and zero leaks. They recharge faster than conventional batteries, and typically deliver 1.5 - 2x the service life. Yellow Top and Blue Top batteries also offer excellent performance as starter batteries for dual-purpose applications.

Performance audio
Trolling motors
Portable lighting
Winches Inverter power
Security system backup
Sump pump backup
RV/Camping power

..I am renigging, you want a yellow top.. You don't want a Red Top, it won't help you as much. Expect to pay about 100 bucks or so cfor the battery. If you battery is not teh original, just buy a 30 dollar capasitor and call it a day. No need for any additional power for teh amp powering the door speakers as they are using very minimal power compared to the subs.

hey who was that high school kid from Grand Rapids, MI who was such an impulse buyer? I think he had GR in his name. Remember he would make all kinds of posts like this listing crappy equipment asking our opinions. Then we would tell him he's making a mistake and list off better options thinking he understood. Then he would just go off and buy the same crap he was listing before.

Anyone else having Deja Vu right now?
