175.00 HU
200.00 for 2 subs
160.00 For 4 speakers
180.00 For Door Speaker amp

you have a little less than 300 left to buy a mono block type amp for the 2 subs and a cap (proabbnly not needed, though) and a box (40 bucks)

Yeah they look fine but aren't my speakers ('98 Contour LX) factory 5X7? How would I get those to fit?

silly guy!

5x7 and 6x8 are the same thing. TRUST ME.


6x8 have the mounting holes for a 5x7 location, no modifying required.

Thats a bandpass box, they suck for certain apllications (liek COntour's.)

Your standard 2 port dual sub enlosuyre box will be the best bet for you.

HOly crap they rape you on Box prices.

Have any woodworking skills? That 90.00 Q-logic could be made wiht 1 piece of 1/4" MDF, 1/2 yard of fabric, adn 1 tube of caulf.. oh, and the box building kit from cruthfield for about 30.00 total.

THAT I will probably have to buy somewhere else because the cheapest one BB has is 100 bucks...

Hmm, if you weren't strapped for buying from BEst Buy, I'd sell you mybox, with two 10" kenwoods and 600 watt amp for pretty cheap.

But we won't turn this into a classsified's add page, lol.

Now, bestbuy is including a pair of Dual subs with that amp if you want to use them, thats fine, they suck, but will produce bass nonetheless. You'll just want to be sure to get a monoblock amp or a 2 channel amp to power those two subs. You'll probably want to condier a cap (thinking about it now) since you will be having two amps drawing off your one car battery.
