for those outside of central texas, it's a little swimming hole about an hour outside austin that formed from a collapsed grotto. this was during the hot spell; though the water felt warmer than barton springs (68-degrees year-round), it was still great. I highly recommend it. call ahead though, sometimes they close it after rains, and only 75 cars are allowed in at a time.

Hey, I know that place! I had to find directions to it online for my sister, and I read a little about its history. Very cool-sounding place. I wanted to go, but had to work....

BINGO!

One of my favorite places to go!

excellent shots.. covers most of the things to see there, though they are hard to imagine, even through photos.
Its a truly awesome area.

Yeah, I just got off the phone with my sister, and she said pictures don't do it justice. I'd like to go there someday.

I smell a SCCEG meeting!

I don't think I can swim well enough to enjoy that. The scenery sure is nice though!

If ya'll are kool enough, maybe I will. But it will NEVER happen if SCCEG never gets together. At least Texas. Most guys like my sis, she's 3 years older than me.
