Yeah I'm ready to go again, this time a full tune up(uim/lim tb cleaning) is in order. About getting home, that little green civic wanted to race on I-10, I'll give him this much great take off but on the top end he ain't got sh**, left him in the dust in 4th, when will he learn. My boy in his lightning ran a 13.1 even with a 1.6 reaction time. But it was his first time racing. He's ready to go again too.

A few things:

1. Reaction time affects 1/4 time in NO way.
2. Let's keep our street stories to ourselves, or PMs, so this thread can stay open.

Glad you guys had fun. I'll do it again whenever you guys want to!

Whoah guys, let's not get our panties in a wad. I don't really think the reaction time means too much to slower cars, but on things like funny cars, etc., I'm sure that extra 10th of a second actually doees something for them. As for me, the reaction time seems inverse to my quarter mile time, ala my 18.4 run was on a 1.12, whereas my 18.6 run was on an .89. I seriously don't think it holds much effect for my car at least...

Oh, and I have the video on a CD now. I'll try to get it on here when I can get to my dorm and its ethernet connection. I can't even think about doing it on this dial-up at home...

I'm not "not calm".. I was just saying.

Reaction time has NOTHING to do with 1/4 time.. you can wait at the lights for 2 minutes before moving after the tree flips and you will still run a 15.xx (or whatever you were going to run...)

I've got to get a way to get that video up on the site. It's massive, even in cut-down form...
