since vortex technical forums are pretty much useless anymore, what kind of benefits does a 3" DP have over a 2.5". i am currently running a 2.5" DP into a custom 3" exhaust (1 muffler, no cat). any really significant change?

On my turbo kit that I made, I have my DP start out at 2.5" and then it transitions to 3" about where my wastegate plumbs into it. If I had my wastegate vent to atmosphere, it could've been 2.5" with no issues.

From everything I've read, hell no! If you vent your wastegate to the atmosphere 2.5" is more than enough.

I did my crossover pipe, DP and cat-back for about $600! That's 321 SS from the headers to the turbo, and 304L from the DP back, stainless bullet cat, 2 stainless Apexi N1 mufflers!

$375 for only the DP is TaXiNg!
