i got mine today!!! sooooooo pretty....do you really have to take the altenator out???

There's stuff in the way as far as I could tell, so my answer is yes, the alt's gotta come out. Once we figured it out, it wasn't tough to get out and reinstalled.

well the alternator pulley is pressed on so you would need to get a puller in there, I think if you get the tie rod out of the way there might be enough space ...

My alt pulley just came off once I took off the nut on it?!
It helps to have the alt out but from my experience it wasn't necessary, just need an impact to loosen the nut on the alt unless I have a speacial edition alternator with the pulley not pressed on?

Sweet thanks man. I thought that was the belt size but wasnt sure. I think I'll cross it for a Goodyear Gatorback since we sell GY at work.
