Ask SVT4STV

I know he is in the process of having his 3.0L installed.

His guy is located off Hwy101 near the 405 interchange.

yeah, he said he'd be interested in doing additional 3L work, especially after doing mine. its pretty straight forward and he has much experience with SHOs. he's been in contact with Stazi the whole for clarification and advice. whereever you go i guarantee you he'll do it for cheaper. its more of a hobby/challenge for him than "work" he's an engineer and one of those types that savors a challenge good for us! he also takes a personal approach with people's cars. do you need this done now? mine should be done within two weeks. it would probably be finished this weekend except we're waiting for the trans to come back from Terry Haines. also, he'd only be able to work on it on the weekends, and the occasional friday. are you looking for just a motor swap or are you going to add additional parts as well? ie clutch/flywheel/quaife etc..

btw, he lives in Woodland Hills, about an hour west of Fontucky.

oh yeah, im sure he'd do it for waaay less than $1K. like i said, its more of a hobby for him than a "job". he's just happy to see sho/contour/ford enthusiasts out there on the road with these cars.

yep. i dont want to count my chickens just yet, but im thinking quite possibly that since im helping him do a lot of the work (well not alot )but ive even helped out a little on some other people's cars that have come in in the mean time and plus the fact that we've become pretty good buds now, im thinking he's probably going to charge me somewhere between $300-$500. well worth the wait of having it worked on only on weekends. of course, that's my price but i wouldnt think he would charge others tooo much more.
