Okay, I have asked this question awhile ago but now the date is aproaching that I will finally be racing my friend's Accord. My friend has a 95 Honda Accord with a V6 2.7L V6. He has added a cold air intake and a cat-back exhaust. He also added that he's put synthetic oil in now, which I wasn't quite sure if it would really improve the car's speed, etc. Neway, my Contour is still basically stock. I got some new Yoko's last year that are still in real good shape but they tend to slip alot off the start. So the basis of this post is to ask if I can win this race. I really want to beat him but I have a feeling I won't. Predictions? Advice?

Good luck. Er.. please don't make this another one of those threads, ok? You know what thread I'm talking about. And we don't need no stinking timeslips. Just your word that you won or lost will suffice.

You will get spanked. If he didn't put the synethetic oil in it, you'd be fine, but that puts him over the top.

put stickers on your car. Remember each sticker is around 3-5 hp. That will make up for the syn oil.

yanking that 400lbs of stereo equipment you have in the trunk might be an otherwise, an mtx 4 banger vtec accord could probably roast you.

Yep, and isn't Auto X Fil the one with the "Lighter is Faster" motto in his signature.
