front mount is not possible on the duratec unless you remove the AC condensor or cut out the front fascia like dean joyce. You may also be dealing with overheating issues as well since its blocking air flow to the radiator.

I can't see the heat thing being an issue, it is only dissipating heat when you are under boost and you aren't under boost at idle when radiators traditionally could have a problem with heat dissipation. Only when the car is moving will a front mount produce any significant heat and in that case there is usually plenty of airflow if you are boosting.

And I still don't think it's impossible...even Keith said it isn't...but in no way is it a bolt-on...that's why ADC decided against the front mount.

There are smaller FMIC's on the market. I have seen some very nice installs performed in less of an area. Look at some of the FMIC's for the DSM cars. Small compact and they do a VERY good job of scrubbing out heat. If having a intercooler in front of the radiator was a problem, I don't think they would do it in OEM packaging - Saab, Volvo and alot of Diesel powered trucks/rigs.

I know that a FMIC can be done, but when you could do a water to air.... why? I *was* going to do a FMIC, but I came across a really good deal on my water to air IC. There is more than enough room to install a FMIC even with the AC compressor inplace. There is even enough room for a T28 to be placed where the AC compressor is, but a T3/T4 is too big.
