Hi I was trying to install my roady2 reciever today
but when i plug the power into the cig lighter it will not power up. the cig lighter is working. I tried the reciever in my wives lighter and it did not work either. but when I tried it in her aux power point it worked fine. any sugestions. any help would be awesome

If the cigarette lighter has actually been used for cigarettes, it may be there is corrosion in the socket, just operate the lighter a few times to clean the contacts. Also, the adapter should fit snug in the lighter socket. There are "european" lighter sockets that need a shim to secure a adapter plug, but I am fairly sure the Conout has a normal socket.
