For the horsepower gain part...yea there is a noticable difference, take this from a guy who has it done.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

read the schematic, and solder it that way.
I take it you HAVE the schematic, but don't know what to do from there?
You can't just "try" with this... if you want it to be reliable, and safe.

There is a diffrnece, but i would not kid our selves....maybe at most i dynoed 5HP more than with out them gutted...its not a big diffrence...and it was barly noticeable to me...So don;t be too surprised if you cannot feel too much. By the way...5hp is at the edge of most dynos error %.

Just make the mechanical one...I'll make them and send them to you for like 20 bucks. It's what I use on my WRX...no soldering, no clipping wires...completely reversible

It wasn't me. I know it has been posted though, but it was probably two or three years ago. Try searching for MIL eliminators.
It may also help to look under "mystery mod".

I thought it was you, but guess not. I have could swear I have seen it MUCH more recently than 2-3 years, though. I don't remember much about the actual operation of it, but there were pictures, and a how-to as well, perhaps as recently as 1.5 years, but time runs together after a while and we may be thinking of the same post.
