Basically, when it comes to SS lines, there is minimal profit for the companies. That is all why they are almost the same price. The differences are based on the thickness of the Teflon hose inner and the weave of the braided outer. Some offer thicker Teflon, others have more and finer weave. This become apparent (sp?) when making hand made hoses that require the olive be fit to a certain hose size. Sometimes it's tight other times it's not. Each of the 'big four'; Earls, Aeroquip, Russell, Goodridge, each claim to have the proper package. (big surprise huh?) The reality is that ANY of them are superior to the rubber hose.
