I saw the movie tonight and I loved it. The drifting was awesome and god damn does Simpson got a sweet *ss. 
Anyone happen to catch the Stazi mesh in the back of the cop car transporting the Dukes? 
Oh yeah, I loved the whole reference thing to Super Troopers. That was awesome.

I'm not going to waste my money on seeing it in the theaters. I think the casting is terrible. All the reviews I have read say the movie sucks, and it just seems to be another thrown together movie to make some money.

I read the review in the Dallas Morning News, and if anything they say is true about the movie, then it's not even worth my free ticket...
One thing that blew my mind...
Marijuana use by the DUKES? Never would happen, doesn't matter where they are...
This is not the Dukes of Hazzard. Rather, it seems to be, just like you said, a waste of my money on something they threw together at the last second...

The only complaining I'm hearing about the movie is from the guys that didn't see it. Everyone is too busy reading about the stupid reviews, casting, and the differences from the old show. Boycott because you don't like the casting or it doesn't follow the story? C'mon...

Only thing I really noticed was that should have been done better was Burt needed about 80 pounds more to play Boss Hogg! But even though I can't complain. ITs a post 98 contour oh and if you're being a piss ant just because willie nelson, the governor, and farva come out of a smoke house you really need to grow up. Close you're eyes for 10 seconds and miss that part of the movie.
