I have a chance to pick up a pre-98 trunk lid up locally-sort of. I don't want to rent a truck and don't know anyone with a pickup. Will I be able to fit it in my back seat?

Yes, you absolutely can. I picked mine up from a junkyard and used the SVT to haul it home. No problems at all.

Wait, I'm thinking back to your post. You asked specifically about the back seat.

I don't know about the seat, but I put mine in the trunk and folded the seats down.
